WILLIAMSPORT - Meggan McGill and Laura Scuffins each had a goal and an assist to lead No. 7 Williamsport to a 2-1 Monocacy Valley Athletic League win over Walkersville on Wednesday.

The Wildcats (5-1, 3-0) have won five straight since losing its season opener.

Tristian Flook scored the only goal for the Lions, who were outshot, 6-3.

MERCERSBURG, Pa. - Gabby Carstens, Jill Bradley, Marin Ping and Amber Fellers each scored a goal for Jefferson (8-2-1). Courtney McCauley, Melissa Clevenger and Bradley each had an assist, while Laura McIlroy had four saves to record the shutout.

MERCERSBURG, Pa. - Matt Speaker scored Jefferson's goal on an assist from Adam Sperry to offset the tying goal by Mercersburg's Graham Zifferer. Andrew Rohman had 10 saves for Mercersburg (3-1-2, 0-1-0) while Andrew McKee had eight saves for Jefferson.

SMITHSBURG - Andrew Bohan threw two touchdown passes to Justin Thompson and Dustin Mitchell for Smithsburg. Justin Thompson rushed for a touchdown.


St. James 14, MSD 6

ST. JAMES - Quarterback Drew St. Lawrence ran 56 yards for a touchdown, James Walterdorf had a 75-yard kickoff return for a touchdown, and Gus Phiefer had a two-point conversion for St. James (1-0). MSD falls to 0-1.

Smithsburg 18, FSK 6

SMITHSBURG - Bruce Storm rushed for two touchdowns and Josh Daniels threw a touchdown pass to Abe Nehemias to lead Smithsburg (1-1-1) in the win over FSK (1-3).

THURMONT, Md. - Robby Thompson was 10 for 13 passing for 140 and two touchdowns and also rushed for a touchdown. William Younger, Kevin Mendonca, Dean Staley and Matt Ridenour all scored touchdowns for North (3-1). Leon Finley had 12 tackles.

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. - Nikki Kegerreis scored two goals and had an assist for Shippensburg (7-2), while Meredith Markle had six saves in goal. Amy Ridgely recorded 13 saves for Shepherd (1-7), which was outshot, 30-10.

Williamsport Ravens 19, Boonsboro Colts 0: Shawn Likely scored all three of the Ravens' touchdowns, two on runs and the third on a pass from Will Bowen. Jesse Kemmerer added an extra-point run.

Smithsburg Jaguars 38, Clear Spring Cardinals 6: Jacob Harris and Ben Daniels scored two touchdowns each to lead the Jaguars. Harris rushed for his TDs while Daniels scored on a run and a fumble recovery. Kameron Morel and Tyler Alexander each had touchdown runs while Ryan Delauter and Dustin Davis added extra-point runs for the Cardinals.

Smithsburg Jaguars 32, Hancock Panthers 0: Tyler Alexander, Jacob Harris, Ben Daniels, Tyler McKenizie and Cullan Ganley each scored rushing touchdowns while Justin Scott and Ganley both added extra-point runs for the Jaguars.

Hagerstown Packers 13, Boonsboro Titans 0: Tony Bender scored both Packer touchdowns on runs of 4 and 2 yards and Jesse Jarvis had an extra point.
