Lycoming College

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Eric Wisniewski of Hagerstown has joined the faculty of Lycoming College in Williamsport as a visiting assistant professor of chemistry.

Wisniewski completed his undergraduate studies at Shepherd College in Shepherdstown, W.Va. He received his Ph.D. from the Pennsylvania State University. His last position was at Pennsylvania State University.

O'Neill Physical Therapy Services

Jenn Robertson, physical therapy assistant with O'Neill Physical Therapy Services in Hagerstown, recently completed more than 150 hours in Swedish massage course work at Synergy Healing Arts Center and Massage School.

Leigh Martin, physical therapy assistant, was recognized for 10 years of service.

Wilson College

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Lavinia Reid has joined the adjunct faculty of Wilson College as a lecturer in Physical Education and Dance.


Reid, director of the Chambersburg Ballet Theatre School and its performing Youth Company, will teach courses in ballet for Wilson College.

These courses will be taught at the ballet school's new temporary studios at 33 N. Main St., Chambersburg.

Alternative Drug and Alcohol Counseling

Alternative Drug and Alcohol Counseling in Hagerstown recently had two clinical staff members attend 20 hours of training at Salisbury University through the Maryland Office of Education and Training of Addiction Services.

Laura Spigler attended "Resistance: Clinical Techniques with the Substance Abusing Client" and Deanna Bailey attended "Behavioral Cognitive Therapy in Addiction Treatment."

Shepherd College

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. - Luoluo Hong has been named dean of students at Shepherd College in Shepherdstown, in Shepherdstown.

Hong, assistant vice president for student affairs and dean of students, will succeed Alicia Chvez, who left the office in January. Hong is expected to start around Nov. 1.

Bodyworks Massage Center

Christine Lane, RN, CMT, a Maryland-certified massage therapist at the Bodyworks Massage Center in Hagerstown, recently completed the Level III master degree in the Reiki method of natural healing at Carroll County Women's Place at the Carroll County Hospital in Westminster, Md.

Lane also recently completed Cranio-Sacral I training through the Upledger Institute for Complementary Care and Education.

David Pool was the top producer and top seller at the Hagerstown Long & Foster office in August with a sales volume of $796,999.

Joan Schupp was the top lister and Schupp and Rick Baker were the agents with the most new listings.

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Butch Cazin was the top producer, top seller, top lister and the agent with the most new listings at the Martinsburg Long & Foster in August.

Cazin had a sales volume of $1,152,000.

Donald L. Huntzberry and Michael D. Tressler were awarded engraved watches for their 20 years of service with Callas Contractors.

The Longaberger Co. recognized Jennifer Poffenberger of Hagerstown as a 2002 National Top Sales Award Winner at its annual convention in Columbus, Ohio.

Poffenberger has received the award for VIP Level I Sales - $45,000 to $59,999.
