Glines-Matthew

Buddy and Susan Glines of Hagerstown wish to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristen Lee Glines, to Jason Joseph Matthew, son of John Matthew and Bonnie Gahagan, both of Baltimore.

Ms. Glines is a 1993 graduate of South Hagerstown High School, a 1995 graduate of Hagerstown Community College with a degree in general studies, a 1997 graduate of Towson University with a bachelor of science degree in sociology and plans to receive a master of science degree in counselor education from McDaniel College in 2004. She is employed by Baltimore County Department of Health, Bureau of Substance Abuse, as the Baltimore County Students Against Destructive Decisions coordinator and as the Maryland SADD state coordinator.

Mr. Matthew is a 1993 graduate of Calvert Hall College High School, attended Towson University and is a third class petty officer for the United States Coast Guard. He worked for one year in the Outer Banks of North Carolina and will serve the remainder of his tour in Annapolis.

Levin-Kinnee

Susan and Alan Levin of Hagerstown announce the engagement of their daughter, Elisa Levin, to Kevin Kinnee, son of Jewel and Wayne Beasley of Mahomet, Ill.

Ms. Levin is a 1994 graduate of North Hagerstown High School, a 1998 graduate of University of Delaware, received a master's degree in special education from George Washington University and continued post-graduate work at Johns Hopkins University. She is employed by the public schools in Arlington County, Va., as an autism resource specialist.

Mr. Kinnee is a 1994 graduate of Mahomet-Seymour High School in Mahomet and received a bachelor of science degree in sociology from Illinois College in 1999. He is employed as a special agent with Department of the Treasury.

A September 2003 wedding is planned.




Byers-Mason

Angela Jean Byers and Michael Alan Mason announce their engagement.

Ms. Byers is the daughter of Beverly Powell of Williamsport and the late Ted Byers. She is a graduate of Williamsport High School and received an associate of arts degree in communications from Hagerstown Community College. She is employed at First Data Merchant Services in Hagerstown as a customer care specialist.

Mr. Mason is the son of Kenneth Mason of Hagerstown and the late Janet Kay Mason. He is a graduate of North Hagerstown High School and attended Hagerstown Community College. He is a self-employed photographer.

A Nov. 9 wedding is planned.
