Lt. Kline to speak at community group meeting

Lt. Margaret Kline of the Hagerstown Police Department will speak Oct. 3 at the Historic Heights Community Action Group meeting to address police calls in the South Prospect Street neighborhood and surrounding areas.

Kline will discuss nuisance calls and reports of crimes that police are investigating and recommend what property owners and residents can do to help curtail illegal activities.

Group members will have fliers available outlining Hagerstown rules about trash collection and suggest ways to create a cleaner neighborhood.

The neighborhood association, part of Hagerstown's Neighborhoods First program, meets at 7 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month at St. John's Episcopal Church, 101 S. Prospect St. All residents of South Prospect Street, South Walnut and the 100 and 200 blocks of Summit Avenue are invited. For more information, call 301-739-5815.
