Manitowoc names executives

MANITOWOC, Wis. - Glen Tellock, president of Manitowoc Crane Group, a division of The Manitowoc Company Inc., has announced the individuals and responsibilities to complete his senior management team.

The appointments come less than four weeks after Manitowoc's acquisition of Grove Worldwide. This action is also one of the initial steps of a comprehensive plan that will integrate Manitowoc, Potain and Grove quickly.

As previously announced, Marty Lakes will serve as executive vice president of the Americas region; Jean-Yves Bouffault will serve as executive vice president of Europe, the Middle East and Africa; and Eric Etchart serves as executive vice president of the Asia/Pacific region.

The newest additions to Manitowoc Crane Group's senior management team include:

  • Jeffry Bust, executive vice president of Manitowoc Crane Group and chief executive officer of Grove Worldwide.

  • Steve Cripe, controller of Manitowoc Crane Group.

  • Larry Weyers, senior vice president - worldwide marketing and product support.

  • Pierre-Yves LeDaeron, general manager - aerial work platforms.



As executive vice president of Manitowoc Crane Group and chief executive officer of Grove Worldwide, Bust will assist Tellock with major strategic initiatives including his current role as transition manager for the Grove and Potain acquisitions, as well as identifying and evaluating future acquisitions, plus undertaking other special assignments.

As Crane group controller, Cripe, former chief financial officer of Grove Worldwide, will have full financial responsibility for the Crane Group.

Larry Weyers, former senior vice president of sales and marketing for Manitowoc Cranes, will now serve as senior vice president of worldwide marketing and product support.

As general manager of aerial work platforms, LeDaeron will manage the various aerial work platform businesses as a consolidated group.
