Scible-Pereira

Kara Elisabeth Scible and Frank James Pereira III announce their engagement.

Miss Scible is the daughter of Phyllis E. Scible of Glen Burnie, Md., and the late William T. Scible III. She is a 1997 graduate of North County High School in Glen Burnie. She is employed as an office secretary by the State of Maryland for Anne Arundel County Department of Health, School Health Services Program in Glen Burnie.

Mr. Pereira is the son of Joyce M. and Frank J. Pereira Jr. of Hagerstown. He is a 1993 graduate of Kingston High School in Kingston, N.Y., and received a bachelor of science degree in meteorology from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, N.C., in 1998. He is employed as a meteorologist for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration in Camp Springs, Md.

A May 17 wedding is planned.

Levin-Kinnee

Susan and Alan Levin of Hagerstown announce the engagement of their daughter, Elisa Levin, to Kevin Kinnee, son of Jewel and Wayne Beasley of Mahomet, Ill.

Ms. Levin is a 1994 graduate of North Hagerstown High School, a 1998 graduate of University of Delaware, received a master's degree in special education from George Washington University and continued post-graduate work at Johns Hopkins University. She is employed by the public schools in Arlington County, Va., as an autism resource specialist.

Mr. Kinnee is a 1994 graduate of Mahomet-Seymour High School in Mahomet and received a bachelor of science degree in sociology from Illinois College in 1999. He is employed as a special agent with the Department of the Treasury.

A September 2003 wedding is planned.

Faulders-Horst

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Faulders of Sharpsburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Holly Jean Faulders, to Joshua Alvin Horst, son of Reba Clevenger of Hagerstown and Clarence Horst of Clear Spring.

Miss Faulders is a 1999 graduate of Williamsport High School. She is pursuing a bachelor of arts degree in elementary education at Shepherd College.

Mr. Horst is a 2002 graduate of Washington County Technical High School. He is employed by Hagerstown Honda as a service technician.

A June 14 wedding is planned.
