Lead ball shot through car windows, door in Pa.

ST. THOMAS, Pa. - Pennsylvania State Police are investigating at least three incidents in which lead balls were shot through car windows and a restaurant door over the weekend.

n Between 11 p.m. Saturday and 6 a.m. Sunday, someone shot an object through the left rear window of a 1988 Dodge Caravan parked outside 7098 Lincoln Way West in St. Thomas Township, police said. Damage is estimated at $100.

n During the same time period, a similar object was shot through the front door of Oak Forest Restaurant, 6097 Lincoln Way West, causing about $265 in damage, police said.

n Someone shot an object through the driver's side window of a 1989 Chevrolet Beretta parked outside 7256 Lincoln Way West, causing $100 damage, police said.

Hagerstown man is no longer missing

A Hagerstown man reported missing last week has been in contact with his family, Hagerstown City Police said Monday.

Philip Allison Damasiewicz, 34, of Marion Street is OK and is being removed from a police database listing as a missing person, police said.

Police said Damasiewicz "is choosing not to make his whereabouts known at this time."
