Antique tractor club will host Washington County Antique Tractor and Craft Show

The tenth annual Washington County Antique Tractor and Craft Show sponsored by the Washington County Antique Tractor Club is Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 23, 24 and 25, at Washington County Agricultural Education Center, on Sharpsburg Pike, on Md. 65 seven miles south of Interstate 70.

Food available includes breakfast and barbecued chicken by District 12 Ruritan Club and ice cream by Two Top Ruritan Club. Admission is free and there will be free parking and free primitive camping with restroom facilities on the grounds.

Buttons and plaques will be given to all exhibitors. Daily events feature a flea market, craft vendors, wagon rides, working displays such as saw mill, stone crusher, threshing, gas engines and slow tractor race. A stock garden tractor pull will be featured Friday at 6 p.m. Saturday features kids' games at 1 p.m., a kids' pedal race at 2 p.m., parade of tractors at 3 p.m. and an antique tractor pull at 4 p.m. Sunday features a kids' pedal pull at 1 p.m., parade of tractors at 2 p.m., a bake auction at 3 p.m. and raffle drawings.
