Gunmen take money from AC&T

HALFWAY - An unknown amount of money was stolen from the AC&T at 16504 Virginia Ave. Saturday morning by two men who displayed a gun, the Washington County Sheriff's Department reported.

The cashier and a customer were told to lay on the floor while money was taken from an open drawer shortly before 2 a.m., police said.

Both suspects were described as white males in their late teens to mid 20s, police said.

One suspect was 6 feet tall and weighed about 150 pounds. He was wearing a yellow jacket with a zipper and gray shoulders, a black hat, denim shorts and black sneakers, police said.

The other suspect was 5-foot-10, weighed about 140 pounds and was wearing black denim shorts, a light blue scarf and white sneakers, police said.
