Emily Auldridge has been named The Herald-Mail's August Employee of the Month.

Auldridge, a single-copy coordinator in the circulation department, has been with the company for two years.

Andy Mason has been hired as a sports writer in the newsroom. Mason has worked for the Chambersburg Public Opinion, the Waynesboro Record Herald and the Carlisle Sentinel.

In the circulation department, Kim Shifflett has been hired as a part-time customer service representative. Shifflett previously worked for the Maryland State Highway Administration.

Marking milestone service anniversaries in August are Tom Carter, mailroom, 10 years, and Meg Partington, newsroom, five years.




MidAtlantic Farm Credit



FREDERICK, Md. - Kelly Shank has been hired by MidAtlantic Farm Credit.

Shank, of Boonsboro, will service commercial farm accounts from MidAtlantic's Frederick office.




Center for Orthopedic Excellence



MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Thomas Knutson, D.O., has joined the Center for Orthopedic Excellence as an associate to the practice.

Knutson attended Kirksville College of Orthopedic Medicine and completed his orthopedic residency at Doctor's Hospital of Stark County.

The Center for Orthopedic Excellence is at 1004 Tavern Road, Martinsburg.




Northwestern Mutual



Hagerstown area Northwestern Mutual financial representatives were recognized on July 22 during the 122nd Annual Meeting of the Association of Agents for sales achievements during the year ending May 31.
