Jack E. Hardy

CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. - Jack Edward Hardy, 31, of Charles Town, died Monday, July 22, 2002, at his home.

Born Nov. 23, 1970, in Ranson, W.Va., he was the son of Jack Edward Hardy Sr. and Betty Lou Penwell Hardy of Charles Town.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Madeline Mary Edwards.

Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home, Charles Town. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery, Martinsburg, W.Va.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the services.




Ronald E. Hauver

Inurnment services for Ronald E. Hauver, who died Saturday, May 18, 2002, in Myrtle Beach, S.C., will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Rest Haven Cemetery.

Herbert D. Tabler

BERKELEY COUNTY, W.Va. - Herbert D. Tabler, 79, of Berkeley County died Monday, July 22, 2002, at his home.

Born May 8, 1923, in Scrabble, W.Va., he was the son of the late George Christian and Agnes Myers Tabler.

He was a farmer. He also built his home and other homes in Berkeley and Jefferson counties.

He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Shepherdstown, W.Va.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Christine Stanley Tabler; one daughter, Lora Hammersla; one brother, George C. Tabler Jr.; two grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Alice Kendig and Agnes Kendig; and two brothers, Roland Tabler and William Tabler.

Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg, W.Va. The Rev. Fred A. Soltow Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Jane C. McKenna

GLENGARY, W.Va. - Jane Claire Hudspeth McKenna, 60, of Glengary and formerly of Point of Rocks, Md., died Monday, July 22, 2002, at her home.

Born April 7, 1942, in Birmingham, Ala., she was the daughter of the late John T. and Emma Luella Ford Hudspeth.

She attended Central Chapel in Hedgesville, W.Va.

She is survived by her husband, Charles F. McKenna; one daughter, Amanda M. Willoner of Aiken, S.C.; one sister, Bernie L. Doak of Beverly, Ohio; three brothers, David M. Hudspeth and John L. Hudspeth, both of Marietta, Ohio, and Allen F. Hudspeth of Orlando, Fla.; and four grandchildren.

Services will be Friday at 3 p.m. at Central Chapel. Pastor Donald E. Cherry and the Rev. Don Carpenter will officiate.

Burial will be private.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at South Berkeley Chapel Funeral Home, Inwood, W.Va.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 122 Waverly Court, Martinsburg, WV 25401.




Louise V. Cook

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Louise V. Cook, 71, of Martinsburg, died Tuesday, July 23, 2002, at Winchester (Va.) Medical Center.

Born Aug. 14, 1930, in Berkeley County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Harry Jordan and Minirva Crowell Jordan.

She was a graduate of Martinsburg High School.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald T. Cook; one daughter, Penny Jones of Bunker Hill, W.Va.; one son, Ronnie E. Cook Sr. of Falling Waters, W.Va.; one sister, Margaret Shank of Williamsport; one brother, Lawrence Jordan of Martinsburg; four grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four sisters, Mabel Jordan, Ethel Besaw, Violet Linton and Dorothy Starliper; and two brothers, W. Leroy Jordan and Lester Jordan.

Services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg. The Rev. Malcolm Cadd will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.




William R. Barklow

William Rolland "Ronnie" Barklow, 51, of 101 Broadway, Hagerstown, died Tuesday, July 23, 2002, at his home.

Born July 12, 1951, in Washington County, he was the son of the late John Rolland Barklow and Gladys Cecelia Tevault Miller.

He was employed by Gowen Motor Service in Hagerstown.

He was a member of Maranatha Brethren Church.

He was a member of American Legion Post 42, and Fraternal Order of Police.

He is survived by his wife, Karen D. Shirley Barklow; one sister, Kathy Hutson of Hagerstown; and one brother, James Barklow of Williamsport.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Ray Miller Jr.

Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. The Rev. James Jones will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.




Grayson E. Bidle

MIDDLETOWN, Md. - Grayson Edward "Buzz" Bidle, 67, of 7702B Market Road, died Tuesday, July 23, 2002, at Frederick (Md.) Memorial Hospital.

Born Oct. 9, 1934, in Lansdowne, Md., he was the son of the late Walter S. Bidle Jr. and Grace E. Flook Bidle.
