n

"I found a bag on the Valley Mall parking lot, it was bought on July 17 from Shenk and Tittle. Give me a call if you lost it and if you can tell me what is in it, I will return it to you. My number is 301-733-9154."

n

"To the people who let their dogs and cats run loose in the 200 block of East Potomac Street in Williamsport. Keep them in your own yard. Nobody wants them running around and doing business in their yard."

"Concerning the statement of seniors causing more wrecks than drunk drivers. What a dumb comment. Seniors run the speed limit, you are the one that shouldn't have your licenses."

n

"I want to respond to the person who really seems to have something against senior drivers. The big problem are the ones that drink and the cell phone users, plus don't forget the aggressive drivers, at least they are cracking down on them. So lay off the senior drivers."

n

"I want to say that I found a little kitten on Stone Valley Drive. If it belongs to you, call 301-582-0871."

n

"Man, it's hot. Is this a hot summer or what? Is it just me, or are we having an abnormally hot summer? It just seems like every day is hazy, hot and humid and I just can't stand it anymore. Maybe I'm just getting older and I'm feeling it more, but it sure seems like a hot one we're having this summer. Is there any relief in sight? "

n

"We have sweat bees in our swimming pool. Does anyone else have this problem? If so, what is a solution? I planted ivy around our pool and I was wondering if that could be attracting the sweat bees."

n

"A year or so ago on an evening talk show, there was a story about two dark-eyed people who had a blue-eyed child and they come to find out that he couldn't be the father because they were dark- eyed. It made me wonder can two dark-eyed people have a green- eyed child?"

n

"In response to the funnel cakes, Clear Spring carnival will have funnel cakes at the Ladies Auxiliary building this year. Clear Spring carnival is July 29 through Aug. 3. Hope to see you at the funnel cake stand."

n

"I agree with Mr. Taylor, as a resident and a property owner. The drug problems in Hagerstown are terrible and this makes the property values go down, but still taxes and fees go up. There should be something that the city government should be able to do."

n

"I watch 'Guiding Light' also, I know it's not real, but I still watch it. It's all about Reva Shane. Reva's mother adopted Cassie out and gave her up, but now Reva pulled the plug on Richard and with Tony and Mara, that is really a joke there. Why don't they just get back together and stop acting like children? But I agree with you about Reva Shane, she is a drama queen."

n

"To the one that asked where God was when the 5-year-old was raped and killed. Well where was God when many of the children are being abused and where is God when a lot of the men are absent from the homes, or when the men come home drunk? God is still where he said he was. The problem is sin and the problem lies with mankind. I often have thought about that little girl and she was exposed to terrible outside forces of evil."
