Regional Hospitality Alliance

HEDGESVILLE, W.Va. - The Regional Hospitality Alliance will host a regional hospitality conference Tuesday, Aug. 13 at The Woods Resort in Hedgesville.

The Alliance is a group of hospitality professionals, educators and supporters of the hospitality industry that serves Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia and Virginia.

The theme of the conference is "Investing Time in Networking and Partnering."

There will be a golf outing from 7:30 a.m. to noon, registration and lunch will begin at noon, presentations will occur through the afternoon and dinner will start at 5:30 p.m. with keynote speaker Bill North of Coolfont Resort.

To register, send a $25 check made out to the Regional Hospitality Alliance along with your name, phone number and organization to The Woods Resort, P.O. Box 5, Hedgesville, WV 25427, Attn: RHA Conference. There is a separate fee of $19.08 for the golf outing.

F&M Bancorp

FREDERICK, Md. - The board of directors of F&M Bancorp of Frederick has declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of 28 cents per share payable Aug. 15 to shareholders of record Aug. 1.

F&M Bancorp had total assets of $1.916 billion on June 30.

Edward Jones

Edward Jones investment representatives Dave Walker, Greg Garner and Joan Bowers will host a course titled "Elder Care Issues and Planning Strategies" on Wednesday, Aug. 7, at 2 p.m. at their offices.

The program will be broadcast via Edward Jones' satellite system.

The enrollment fee is $50, which includes admission for one person and all course materials. Reservations are required.

Keller-Stonebraker Insurance

John Schnebly, president, and Jerry Spessard, executive vice president of Keller-Stonebraker Insurance Inc. recently attended the Super Achievers Conference in Hawaii for State Auto Insurance Co.

Keller-Stonebraker was honored as an "Inner Circle Agent." Only 75 agencies in the country earned the distinction in 2001.

In addition, Keller-Stonebraker was recognized as one of the 100 largest State Auto Insurance agencies in the United States.

Keller-Stonebraker has offices in Hagerstown, Cumberland and Frederick, Md., and Keyser, W.Va.
