MONT ALTO, Pa. - Shirley Ketrow was named the "Penn Stater of the Quarter" for the months of January through March at Penn State Mont Alto.

Ketrow, of Hagerstown, is the staff assistant in the Department of Academic Affairs.

MONT ALTO, Pa. - Peter Dendle, assistant professor of English at Penn State Mont Alto, was presented the 2002 Faculty Scholar Award.

The annual award recognizes the research, scholarship and creative accomplishments of a faculty member. The recipient receives a stipend, funded by an anonymous donor to Penn State Mont Alto.

Dendle, of Gettysburg, Pa., began teaching English at Penn State Mont Alto in 2001. His research interests include medieval studies and Old English literature.
