Small Business Tax workshop set July 25

As part of an ongoing effort to provide educational programs to new or existing small business owners and self-employed individuals in Maryland, the Internal Revenue Service will hold a free Small Business Tax workshop on Thursday, July 25.

This workshop, which covers Record Keeping and Start-Up Costs, will be held at the Washington County Free Library, 100 S. Potomac St., BC Conference Room, in Hagerstown.

The one-day workshop, which lasts from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., will assist taxpayers in understanding tax law, procedures and their responsibility in running a small business.

The IRS encourages small business owners to attend this workshop for helpful up-to-date tax information.

All IRS workshops are free and open to the public; however, registration for seating is required.
