Man taken to hospital after damaging car
FREDERICK - Just before 3 a.m. Thursday, Frederick City Police came across a man with a tire iron striking a two-door Honda in the first block of East 4th Street, police said.
The man was told to stop and when police approached the car they found that all the passenger windows had been smashed and the contents of the car had been removed and strewn about the street.
The interior of both doors, window handles, center console, rear seats, floor panels, insulation, hatch panels, registration plates, headlights, wiring harnesses, side and rear bumper panels and bumpers and other trim and exterior pieces had been torn from the vehicle, police said.
The man was taken to Frederick Memorial Hospital for observation, police said.
Hagerstown residents jailed on drug charges
Two men were arrested on drug charges Wednesday after members of the Street Crimes Unit conducted an operation in downtown Hagerstown.
