Hagerstown Lions announce officers

Hagerstown Lions Clubs has announced its officers and directors for 2002-2003

On Tuesday, June 25, Lions Club Past District Governor Roger E. Moore installed the following officers and directors for the 2002-2003 administrative year for Hagerstown Lions Club.

Officers are Watson G. Rasey, president; Gordon Crabb, immediate past president; Dave Moats, first vice president; Ted Hull, second vice president; Rudy Krumpe, third vice president; Dick Hershey, secretary; Garney Gehr, assistant secretary; Paul Leatherman, treasurer; Tom Perry, Lion tamer; Gus Rethemeyer, assistant Lion tamer; Paul Sweeney, tail twister; Tim Foltz, assistant tail twister.

Directors for two years are John Warren, Buck Browning, Merle Saville.

Directors for one year are Clyde Tate, Rob Rankin, Brooks McBurney; J. Franklin Shank, membership chairman; Jerry House, assistant membership chairman; Clyde Tate, membership committeeman.

Lion President Watson Rasey joined the club in 1997 and is the immediate past first vice president. He has served in numerous leadership capacities including oversight of club finance, membership, the annual Pancake Day fund-raiser, and weekly programs.

The Hagerstown Lions Club has been serving the community since 1923.
