Sharpsburg 11, South Mountain 9: Brandon McClean, Sean Colgan, Tyler Thompson and Dustin Rhoutzahn each had two hits for South Mountain. Devin Roberts had two hits for Sharpsburg.

Conococheague 12, Oakland 2: Tanner Malloy, Mate Lowery, and Steve Chrispy each had two hits for Conococheague which scored 12 runs in the fifth inning to win the game. Conococheague scored 12 runs in the fifth to win.

Halfway 5, Federal 1: Josh Green, Aaron Stotelmyer and Brandon McCauley combined to pitch a two-hitter for Halfway. Dylan Zimmerman and Kyle Crist had two hits each in the win.


West End 6, Clear Spring 5: Dustin Rowland pitched a complete game with six strikeouts to lead West End. Aaron Stoner hadt two hits in the win. Doug Morgan led Clear Spring with two hits.

PVAA 6, Frostburg 5: Derek Johnson had 13 strikeouts and Roger Piper had two hits, including a triple, to lead PVAA. Cody Hovatter and Shannon Farrell had two hits each for Frostburg.

Today's Schedule (all games begin at 6 p.m.): Winner's Barcket - Sharpsburg at Halfway; PVAA at Maugansville/American winner. Loser's Bracket - West End at South Mountain; National/Hancock winner at Federal; Conococheague at Frostburg; Valley at Maugansville/American loser.

Hagerstown PONY League

F&M 13, Hagerstown Floors 3: Matt Stevens and Nick Zaccaria each had two hits for F&M. Matt Murray had eight strikeouts.

Redmen Lodge 4, Goodwill 0: Derek Hadley and Aerik Taylor combined to strike out 12 for Redmen.


Hagerstown Church Softball

Williamsport Assembly of God 22, Concordia Lutheran 18: Matt Werry, John Buchanan Sr., and Donny Kelbaugh each had four hits while Mike Trumpower had three hits, including a home run, for Williamsport.

Tri-State Fellowship 13, New Life 10: Jody Rohrer had five hits, Chuck Smith had four hits and Blaine Smith had three hits for Tri-State.


Jefferson 10, Brunswick 4

BRUNSWICK, Md. - Justin Frushour pitched a four-hitter with eight strikeouts to lead Jefferson.

Brent Myers, Justin Flook, Mike Sanchez, Justin Wilt and Chad Hartman all had two hits for Jefferson (10-11).

Jayson Mobley homered twice for Brunswick (15-4).
