    T.J. Bowser struck out five, Chris Grove hit a grand slam and Colby Thompson had two hits for Funkstown, which finished the season 26-4 and won the Mid-Maryland League Championsip.

    Redmen 9, UAW 5: Joey Siler had two hits, including a walk-off grand slam in the seventh inning for Redmen. Mark Dattilio had two hits and Aerik Taylor homered for UAW.

    Aladdin Awards 17, Middletown Sportsland 1: Jamie Fowler threw a one-hitter and had two hits, while Christina Embly had two hits, including a grand slam, for Aladdin.

    Century 21 27, Sealy Mattress 16: Steve Ebberts had five hits, Allan Harsh and Brad Moore each had four hits, Brad Weaver had four hits, including three home runs, and Jason Carter had four hits, including a homer, for Century 21. Jason Jackson went 4-for-4 with two home runs and Kevin Menedis went 3-for-3 for Sealy.

    Shooters 32, Outlaws 20: Kenny Kirby and Jeff Foltz each had five hits, while Scott Coulter, Brent Taylor, Jeremy Keckler, Rick Schriver and Rick Ricker each had four hits each for Shooters.

    Shooters 31, BJ's/Stadium Tavern 10: Tommy McClintock and Brent Taylor each had five hits for Shooters. Kenny Kirby, Scott Coulter, Jeremy Keckler, Buck Crisman and Brent Raley homered for Shooters.

    Stouffer's Performance & Accessories 21, Fire Protection 19: Bonnie Carrier went 6-for-6, Bobby Carter had five hits and Nancy Ecton and Dale Nemcek each had four for Stouffer's.

    D & G Liquors Mixed Nuts 19, Deafnet 12: Mike Green and Dave Myers each had four hits, Crystal Myers had two hits, including a home run, and Annette Sprecher had three RBI to lead D & G.

    Halfway Morning Softball

    Bud Light 15, MCIH 14: Dave Foltz had four hits, while Sean Hutzell, Jason Caniford and Chuck Martin each added three for Bud Light. Joe Duffey and Joel Duffey homered for the winners.

    JEFFERSON, Md. - Nate Reeser drove in three runs as the Hagerstown Braves beat the Jefferson Dodgers.

    Reeser hit a solo home run in the fourth inning off of losing pitcher Jeremy Becker (1-2) to tie the game. He hit a two-run single in the fifth inning to put the Braves ahead for good.

    Brian Renner (4-0) pitched a complete game, striking out nine for the Braves (21-1, 20-1).

    WAYNESBORO, Pa. - John Sechler threw a complete-game five-hitter and struck out six to lead the Brunswick Orioles over Waynesboro.

    Corey O'Bryan had two hits for the Orioles (15-3, 14-3). Regan Smith hit a two-run home run for Waynesboro.
