Two hurt in vehicle collision in Frederick


MERCERSBURG, Pa. - Two people suffered minor injuries when their car flipped over Friday morning, Pennsylvania State Police said.

Police said Brittany D. Eckel, 9821 Fort Loudon Road, Mercersburg, was driving south on Fort Loudon Road at 10:15 a.m. when the car drifted onto the berm.

The driver lost control while trying to steer off the berm and the car overturned, ejecting a passenger, police said.

Eckel and the passenger, who police did not identify, were both treated and released from Washington County Hospital, police said.




Man exposes himself to woman at PA mall


CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Pennsylvania State Police are looking for a man who exposed himself to a woman while driving through the Chambersburg Mall parking lot Friday afternoon.

The woman told police she was approached by a late-model, dark-colored Chevrolet Blazer near Value City at 1 p.m.

She said the driver was a white male between the ages of 30 and 45 with a mustache, and he exposed his genitals and then fled the scene, police said.

The victim got his number off the license plate, which had been stolen from a Mont Alto, Pa., man's vehicle, police said.
