Saundra L. Russell

Saundra Lee Russell, 55, formerly of 546 Salem Ave., Hagerstown, died Saturday, June 15, 2002, at Beverly Health Care.

Born March 6, 1947, in Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Edgar P. and Enola Virginia Mort Myers.

She was a 1965 graduate of Boonsboro High School.

She was employed by Lenox, and prior to that was employed by Trendlines, both in Williamsport.

She is survived by one daughter, Melissa A. Myers of Hagerstown; one son, Galen Myers of Hagerstown; three sisters, Patsy Kirby and Gloria Jean Thompson, both of Hagerstown, and Judy Clark of Waynesboro, Pa.; one foster sister, Joyce Hobson of Maryland; two granddaughters; and three grandsons.

She was preceded in death by one foster father, Bruce Leatherman.

Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Daniel Staley will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.




Joshua D. Horne

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Joshua David Horne, 2, of 13180 Lenape Lane, died Saturday, June 15, 2002, at his home.

Born April 1, 2000, in Waynesboro, he was the son of Thomas and Janene Hess Horne.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, Joel Horne, at home; maternal grandparents, Clair and Ella Jane Warner Hess of York, Pa.; paternal grandparents, John and Shirley Williard Horn of Grove City, Pa.; and aunts and uncles.

Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro. Pastor Bill Schuit will officiate.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

A. Kathryn Redding

BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - A. Kathryn Redding, 54, of Berkeley Springs, died Saturday, June 15, 2002, at City Hospital, Martinsburg, W.Va.

Born Aug. 9, 1947, in Sckull View, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Agnes Daub.

She was a homemaker.

She was of the Methodist faith.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald A. Redding; one daughter, Lisa M. Barry of Berkeley Springs; one son, Jeffrey A. Redding of Martinsburg; and two grandchildren.

Services will be private. The Rev. Dottie Dunham will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Olivet United Methodist Church Cemetery, Berkeley Springs.

Arrangements are by Hunter-Anderson Funeral Home, Berkeley Springs.




Hazel O. Fisher

MYERSVILLE, Md. - Hazel Olive Fisher, 91, of 4243 Fishers Hollow Road, died Saturday, June 15, 2002, at her home.

Born Aug. 2, 1910, in Hawbottom, Md., she was the daughter of the late John Skip and Nellie Kinna Summers.

Her husband, Oscar William Fisher, died in 1963.

She was employed as a cook by George Hamilton, John Marsh and the Frederick Truck Stop until her retirement.

She was a member of Harmony Church of the Brethren, Myersville.

She is survived by two sons, Ray W. Fisher of Middletown, Md., and Harold Fisher of Myersville; three daughters, Martha Pryor of Frederick, Md., Patsy Zeigler of Middletown, and Judy Abel of Hagerstown; 22 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Fisher; and one daughter, Mary Jane Zepp. She was the last of her immediate family.

Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Harmony Church of the Brethren, Myersville. The Revs. Tracy L. Wiser and Leon Yoder will officiate. Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Donald B. Thompson Funeral Home, Middletown, Md., which will be open from noon to 9 p.m., and one hour prior to the services at the church on Wednesday.

William C. Bricker Jr.

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Graveside services for William C. Bricker Jr., 83, of 1520 Edgar Ave., who died Thursday, June 13, 2002, at Chambersburg Hospital, will be Friday at 2:30 p.m. in Broadfording Cemetery near Hagerstown, with graveside military honors by Charles Nitterhouse VFW Post 1599.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may also be made to Zion Reformed Church, 259 S. Main St., Chambersburg, PA 17201.




Madge E. Pollock

ORBISONIA, Pa. - Madge Elizabeth Pollock, 76, a resident of Woodland Retirement Center, and formerly of Hustontown, Pa., died Friday, June 14, 2002, at the center.

Born Feb. 4, 1926, in Mount Union, Pa., she was the daughter of the late William and Melva Rowles Knepp.

She attended Valley View Evangelical Church, Mapleton, Pa.

She was last employed at Sagner Inc., McConnellsburg, Pa.
