Penn Ave. Meats 13, Carbaugh's Tree Service 5: Andy Lytle and Jared Zampelli had two hits for Penn Ave. Brandon Brown had two hits for Carbaugh's.

Hagerstown Kitchens 13, Executone 7: Bryant Hendrickson had three hits and Joe Pilch had two hits to lead Kitchens and Chris Palmer struck out 11 in a complete game. Kevin Reddan had two hits for Executone.

Sharpsburg Little League

Company One 8, Chase Construction 5: Cristopher Kornegay and A.J. Jamison had two hits each for Company One. Dwyane Washko led Chase with three hits.


Federal Little League

Kiwanis 11, Exhcange 6: Will Murray had three hits, while Paul Widmyer and Johnathon Miller each added two hits for Kiwanis. Steven Johnson led Exchange with three hits and Drew Williams added two.

Concocheague Minor League

Reid's Elevator 14, Neikirk's 10: Zachary Lucas had three hits, while Zachary Clark, Zachary Shoemaker, Dustin Bilot and Scott Drury each added two for Reid's. Lucas and Shoemaker each had an inside-the-park home run. Devin Byrd, Matt Kelly and Eric Atha had two hits each for Neikirk's.

Clear Spring Little League

Orioles 9, Cubs 3: Cody McCarthy had 16 strikeouts while allowing just two hits for the Orioles. Ryan Shifler and Ashley Shaff had two hits each for the winners.

Wash. Co. Girls Softball

Aladdin Awards 28, Middletown Sportsland 11: Lisa Wetzel, Jess Marshall and Heather White each had five RBI and Jamie Fowler homered and drove in four runs for Aladdin Awards. Destiny Olden, Janet Cole and Amanda Coe each had two hits for Middletown Sportsland.

Potomac Property Management 7, Subway 5

M&M/Mars 10, Artz Trucking 8: Autumn Breeden had three hits, including two home runs, while Jordie Lord had two hits, including a home run, and Lauren Abbott, Allysen Breeden and Natalie Bowers had two hits each to lead M&M/Mars. Sarah Duffey had three hits for Artz.

Halfway Little League

Lions 8, Gehr 2: Chris McSherry and Dylan Zimmerman had two hits each for Gehr. Kyle Crist had two hits for the Lions.

West End Little League

Moose 4, Coca-Cola 3: J.R. Head and J.J. O'Neill combined on a two-hitter and struck out 11 to lead Moose. Head also had two hits, including the game-winning double in the seventh. Henry Fitzgerald homered for Coca-Cola.

West End Minor League

FOP 11, St. Lawrence 7: Tyler Shindle had two hits for FOP. Brad Smith had two hits for St. Lawrence.

Clear Spring Minor League

Pirates 12, Blue Jays 9: Zachary Jordan and Trenton Smith led the Pirates with two hits. Chad Lowry led the Blue Jays with two hits.

Valley Little League

SMRG 12, Post 211 2: Patrick Springer, Andrew Dinterman and Thomas Port all had three hits and Jordan Thurber had two hits for SMRG. Stephen Grossman and Ronnie Heiston combined on a four-hitter for the win.

National Little League

Long Meadow Exxon 9, FOP 8: Brittany Hyatt had two hits, including a home run, while Dustin Socks and Bobby Marks each had two hits for Long Meadow Exxon. Craig Oxyer and Nick Gross had two hits for FOP.

UAW 20, Antietam 15: E.J. Boutieler had three hits and Aaron Weisner had two hits for UAW. Logan Appel had three hits, while Michael Garner had two hits for Antietam.

South Mountain Little League

Nationwide 14, Thompson's Gas 6: Josh Stitely, Josh Smith, Dustin Routzahn and Zack Clopper all had two hits for Nationwide. Andrew Griffith had three hits and Ryan McLean had a home run for Thompson's.


Hub City Softball

Bud Light 16, Merlin's Tavern 15: Denny Wallech had five hits, including two home runs, to lead Bud Light. Jerry Jacobson also had five hits, while Scott Shank, Randy Kretzer and Dave Myers had four each for the winners. Myers homered.

Shooters 25, Midas 11: Scott Coulter was 5-for-5, while Kenny Kirby had four hits, including two home runs, to lead Shooters. Buck Chrisman, Jeremy Keckler, Jeff Foltz and Barry Petty each had three hits.

Dual Highway Motors/Dealer Specialties 12, SL Woodring 2: Brian Hobbs had four hits and Gary Smith hit a grand slam to lead Dual Highway. Mike Metz and Mike Ardinger added three hits each.

Myers Building Systems 31, B&S Softball 7: Joey Springer, Tim Trail and Joe Hammond all went 6-for-6 and Al Mullendore and Tom Baker added five hits for Myers Building. Mullendore and Eugene Ward each had two home runs and Earl Stotler homered once.

Halfway Morning Softball

Tony's Pizza/MCI 19, Sheriff's Deptartment 5: Bob McPherson and Adam Whitacre each homered twice, while Jimmy Taylor and Don Hardy added four hits for Tony's.
