KANNAPOLIS, N.C. - Keith Anderson and Bryan Carter had a hand in both Hagerstown runs Thursday as the Suns beat the Kannapolis Intimidators 2-1 in an afternoon matinee.

Anderson led off the top of the third inning with a double and later came around to score on Carter's double.

The Intimidators (26-29) tied the score in the bottom of the inning, Mike Morse doubled, went to third on Chris Amador's single and scored on an RBI groundout by Andrew Salvo.

Anderson started the Suns' eighth-inning rally with a single. He went to second on a balk, to third on a sacrifice bunt by Miguel Miranda and scored on Carter's sacrifice fly to give Hagerstown (26-29) the lead.

Julio Pavon (2-3) picked up the win for Hagerstown, allowing six hits over seven innings while striking out six. Ryan Meaux pitched the final two innings to earn his ninth save.
