In addition to chart-topping groups Audio Adrenaline and FFH, and Baltimore group Radical Prayze, speakers include football cornerback Darrell Green and football player turned rapper, Steve Fitzhugh, all performing on the Paradise Island wave pool stage.

Higher Power is free with paid admission and guests also may enjoy more than 100 rides, games and attractions, plus four new, live shows.

Opportunities to study modern dance and ballet

Registration deadline is June 6.

Students who live in Western Maryland, West Virginia and Pennsylvania are eligible to attend this cultural event with an emphasis on modern dance.

Participants may attend a Bare Bones Performance Friday, July 20, and a final Gala Performance, Sunday, Aug. 4. Classes begin Monday, July 23 and run through Friday, Aug. 2, and include modern dance and/or ballet. No previous study of modern dance is required.

Dance students age 16 and older with an intermediate or advanced level of training in modern dance or ballet may register for a two-or four-week residential program. College credit is available at additional cost. The deadline to enroll is Saturday, June 1.
