Harvey C. Leisinger Sr.


Harvey C. Leisinger Sr., 88, of 13157 Kaiser Ridge Road, Hagerstown, died Tuesday, May 21, 2002, at Julia Manor Health Care Center, Hagerstown.

Born Feb. 22, 1914, in Waynesboro, Pa., he was the son of the late Herbert A. and Florence C. Miner Leisinger.

He retired in 1975 from Western Maryland Railroad after 32 years as a trainman/brakeman. He was a past employee of Landis Tool Co. in Waynesboro.

He was a member of Western Maryland Oldtimers Club of Hagerstown, Eagles Inc. of Waynesboro; Redmen Post 84 of Williamsport; and Western Enterprise Fire Company No. 4 of Hagerstown.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred P. Bowman Leisinger, whom he married June 15, 1978; four sons, Harvey C. Leisinger Jr. of Chewsville, Robert Leisinger, Darrell Leisinger and Sterling Leisinger, all of Hagerstown; two sisters, Theresa Crider of Mont Alto, Pa. and Janet Detrow of Hagerstown; one brother, John E. Leisinger of Williamsport; 10 grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one daughter; three sisters and one grandson.

Services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home, North Potomac Street, Hagerstown. The Rev. Darrell L. Layman will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Gardens, Hagerstown.

Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Lloyd C. Buhrman


SABILLASVILLE, Md. - Lloyd C. Buhrman, 79, of Raven Rock Road, died Tuesday, May 21, 2002, at Waynesboro (Pa.) Hospital.

Born Aug. 5, 1922, in Lantz, Md., he was the son of the late Vernon A. M. and Nettie K. Toms Buhrman.

He retired from G.A.F. in Charmaine, Pa.

He is survived by his wife, Mary E. Stottlemyer Buhrman; one daughter, Loretta F. Davis of Greencastle, Pa.; two sons, John R. Buhrman of Orange, Va. and James E. Buhrman of Smithsburg; two brothers, H. Elmer Buhrman of Waynesboro and Samuel S. Buhrman of Leitersburg; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, G. Earl Buhrman, D. William Buhrman, O. Guy Buhrman and H. Ralph Buhrman Sr.

Services will be Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg. Pastor Ky R. Searcy will officiate. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, Cascade.

The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Robert G. Fehle Sr.


NEW WINDSOR, Md. - Robert George Fehle Sr., 74, of New Windsor, died Wednesday, May 22, 2002, at his home.

Born Oct. 9, 1927, in Maryland, he was the son of the late Charles Robert and Henrietta Braunschmidt Fehle.

He worked as a steamfitter.

He served in the U.S. Navy.

He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Eldersburg, Md.

He was a member of Steamfitters Local 438.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Joan Edith Bruns Fehle; two daughters, Marianne R. Leatherwood of New Windsor and Betty Bolm of Hampstead, Md.; three sons, Robert G. Fehle Jr. of Hampstead, Michael L. Fehle of New Windsor and Richard E. Fehle of Harrogate, England; one sister, Hilda Newcomer of Hagerstown; one brother, Charles G. Fehle of Millers, Md.; and seven grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at noon at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Eldersburg. The Rev. Paul Reich will be celebrant. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg, Md.

The family will receive friends today and Friday from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Haight Funeral Home and Chapel, Sykesville, Md.

Robert M. Danzberger Sr.


CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Robert M. "Danny" Danzberger Sr., 78, of 72 N. Federal St., died Tuesday, May 21, 2002, at Shippensburg (Pa.) Health Care Center.

Born April 20, 1924, in Chambersburg, he was the son of the late William A. and Nettie E. McFadden Danzberger.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Chambersburg.

He worked for Penn Central Railroad for 30 years; and retired from Letterkenny Army Depot after 15 years.

He was a member of Cumberland Hose Fire Co. of Chambersburg; and coached Little League baseball.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Meriam Horn Danzberger; three sons, Robert M. Danzberger Jr., Troy L. Danzberger and Toby L. Danzberger, all of Chambersburg; one stepdaughter, Linda D. Grooms of Chambersburg; two stepsons, Gary L. Henry and Michael G. Henry, both of Chambersburg; three sisters, Lottie Hirsch, Helen Leeper and Jeannette Lawyer, all of Chambersburg; 16 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.

Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Robert G. Sellers Funeral Home, Chambersburg. The Rev. Ruth E. Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens near Chambersburg.

Visitation will be at the funeral home today from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday at 1 p.m.
