The National Pike Days festival kicks off in Clear Spring on Friday.
The wagon train will be parked at the Clear Spring American Legion's picnic grounds starting at 4:30 p.m. Visitors can enjoy free bluegrass music and home-cooked meals, which will be sold for $8 from 4:30 to 7 p.m.
A country breakfast will be served from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the American Legion. Cost is $6.
The wagon train will head east at 9 a.m.
The Pike Days parade starts at 10 a.m. at Clear Spring High School and ends at Thompson's Towing Co. Activities in town will include a bake sale, craft and yard sale at the carnival grounds, and a chicken barbecue at the ambulance station starting at 10 a.m.
