CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Pennsylvania State Police are investigating thefts of about $8,000 worth of power tools from two construction sites in Franklin County last week.

Between May 6 and Friday, someone removed numerous hand power tools from tool trailers at construction sites at 2674 Weber Road, St. Thomas Township, Pa., and 11035 Hades Church Road, Antrim Township, Pa., police said.

Both thefts occurred after normal working hours, and about $4,000 worth of tools was removed in each incident, police said.

Any person with information regarding any suspicious sale of large quantities of used power tools or witnessed suspicious activity last week at either site can contact Pennsylvania State Police Troopers Rhyner or S. Campbell at 1-717-264-5161.




GREENCASTLE, Pa. - A Greencastle woman told police her laptop computer was missing, Pennsylvania State Police said.

Elizabeth Souders told police she left her home Saturday while work was being done to her residence, 435 Tall Cedar Lane, and when she returned, her computer was missing from the living room, police said.

Police are investigating the complaint.
