A teenage resident of a Washington County halfway house escaped from custody Monday while being taken to Baltimore for a visit with his parents, Washington County Sheriff's deputies said Thursday.
William Joseph Aaron Jr., 16, is described as white, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 200 pounds with brown hair and green eyes, according to personnel at Oak Hill House, 12806 Independence Road, Clear Spring.
He was last seen on Pratt Street in Baltimore dressed in baggy jeans, a red hooded sweatshirt, a black head bandanna and red/black Nike shoes.
Investigator Johnny Marshall said Aaron was placed at Oak Hill House in late February as a delinquent with behavioral problems.
