American Red Cross building plan approved


A plan for a new American Red Cross building on Conrad Court off Eastern Boulevard in Hagers-town was approved Wednesday by the city Planning Commission.

The one-story building will be on a 5.4-acre property, according to city documents.

The commission voted 5-0 to approve the plan.

Church gets OK to add space to building


The Hagerstown Planning Commission on Wednesday approved a plan for additions to the Otterbein United Methodist Church building and parking lot in the downtown.

The church at 108 E. Franklin St. plans to add space for bathrooms and classrooms, according to city documents.

The commission voted 5-0 to approve the plan.
