Teresa J. McCleary


Teresa Jane McCleary, 36, of 13706 Emily St., Northhaven Trailer Park, Hagerstown, died Friday, May 3, 2002, at her home.

Born June 30, 1965, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of Raymond E. and Annabelle Bowman McCleary of Smithsburg.

She was a 1983 graduate of Smithsburg High School.

She was employed at various restaurants in Maryland. Prior to retirement, she was employed by the tannery in Williamsport as an inspector.

She attended Mountain View Baptist Church in Hagerstown.

She helped at the Martin Luther King School in Hagerstown.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her fianc, Lewis H. Cassner Jr. a son, Joshua Wayne Cassner, at home; three sisters, Betty J. Boyd of Orbisonia, Pa., and Joann Wolf and Laura Fay Smith, both of Hagerstown; three brothers, Joseph E. McCleary of Newville, Pa., Herbert E. Bowman of Hagerstown and Daniel G. Wiley Jr. of Cascade; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Cassner, in 1995; and a sister, Barbara Ann McCleary, Sept. 25, 1956.

Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home in Waynesboro. The Rev. Bill L. Clark will officiate. Burial will be in Price's Church Cemetery, Franklin County, Pa.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Madolyn B. O'Toole


WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Madolyn B. Conrad O'Toole, 83, of 224 Philadelphia Ave., died Friday, May 3, 2002, at her home.

Born Sept. 18, 1918, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late James Albert and Eva Mae Burns Conrad.

She was a 1936 graduate of Waynesboro High School.

She was employed as a tracer at Landis Tool Co. in Waynesboro for 29 years, retiring in 1983.

She was a member of Evangelical Lutheran Church in Waynesboro.

She was a member of Waynesboro Area Lioness Club, Y-Gradale Sorority of Waynesboro, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and National AARP.

She is survived by her husband, J. Richard O'Toole, whom she married June 28, 1939; a sister, Doris C. Flohr of Waynesboro; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro. The Revs. Richard A. Seaks and Daniel H. Kelchner will officiate. Burial will follow in Harbaugh Church Cemetery, Rouzerville, Pa.

There will be no public viewing; however, the family will receive friends Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Good Shepherd or Lutheran Home Care Services, both at 2700 Luther Drive, Chambersburg, PA 17201.

Ruth S. Horst


Ruth Stansbury Horst, 82, of Hagerstown, who died Wednesday, May 1, 2002, is survived by a son, Rodney P. Horst of Martinsburg, W.Va.

Laura Jane Molloy


Laura Jane Molloy, 80, formerly of 913 Beechwood Drive, Hagerstown, died Tuesday, April 30, 2002, at Williamsport Nursing Home.

Angela M. Pereschuk


GERRARDSTOWN, W.Va. - Angela M. Pereschuk, 38, of Gerrardstown and formerly of Keedysville, died Wednesday, May 1, 2002.

Born Feb. 4, 1964, in Tampa, Fla., she was the daughter of the late Louise Garrett.

She was a graduate of Chantilly High School.

She was a hair stylist.

She attended Beaver Creek Christian Church.

She is survived by her stepfather, Robert Classen of Kearneysville, W.Va.; her husband, Larry L. Pereschuk of Keedysville; two stepsons, Larry L. Pereschuk and David L. Pereschuk, both of Williamsport; a sister, Sharri Walitalo of Grapevine, Texas; two stepsisters, Linda Gray of Rockville, Md., and Nancy Classen of Reston, Va.; two granddaughters; and a nephew.

Services will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at South Berkeley Chapel Funeral Home, Inwood, W.Va. The Rev. J. Mark Curran will officiate.

Burial will be private.

The family will receive friends Sunday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

John E. Schetrompf Jr.


John Earl Schetrompf Jr., 47, of 17226 Reiff Church Road, Hagerstown, died Friday, May 3, 2002, at Washington County Hospital.

Born July 3, 1954, in Connellsville, Pa., he was the son of John Earl Schetrompf Sr. of Hagerstown and the late Marian Patricia Savage Schetrompf.

He was employed by Woodmax in Hagerstown.

He was a member of Wayside Baptist Church.

In addition to his father, he is survived by two sisters, Carol A. Hartman of Smithsburg and Cindy D. McGilliard of Waynesboro, Pa., a niece and four nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Scott T. Schetrompf.

Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. The Rev. Odell Stone will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Lawrence J. Policastro


FORT LOUDON, Pa. - Lawrence J. Policastro, 70, of 3348 Lakeview Drive, died Friday, May 3, 2002, at his home.

Born Oct. 25, 1931, in Newark, N.J., he was the son of the late Frank and Louise Becht Policastro.

He worked as a quality control supervisor in paper products manufacturing in New Jersey.
