Anna L. Hind


WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Anna Lucille Debrick Hind, 13254 Pen Mar Road, died Monday, April 29, 2002, at her home.

She was the daughter of the late Randolph O. Debrick Sr. and Daisy Sites Debrick.

She worked for Regency Thermographers in Waynesboro.

She attended Rouzerville United Methodist Church, Rouzerville, Pa.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas "Buster" Hind, whom she married March 24, 1950; one daughter, Pamela H. Rowland; two sons, Randolph L. Debrick and Thomas O. Hind; three grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Rouzerville United Methodist Church. Pastor Matthew Meisenhelter will officiate.

Private burial will be in Harbaugh Church Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the church.

Anna E. Harrigan


MYERSVILLE, Md. - Anna E. Harrigan, 95, of Myersville, died Monday, April 29, 2002, at her home.

Born Feb. 11, 1907, in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late John and Frances Zabler Kiesling.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis P. Harrigan, in 1975.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, Frank Harrigan and Bill Harrigan, both of Myersville; and five grandchildren, Bob, Tom, John, Mike and Kathy.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Little Angel Louise; and three brothers, Bill Kiesling, Frank Kiesling and John Kiesling.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Frederick, Md. The Rev. Leo Tittler will be celebrant.

Burial will be Friday at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, N.Y.

The family will receive friends today from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Ricketts Funeral Home, Myersville.

Ada V. Ritz


WARFORDSBURG, Pa. - Ada V. Ritz, 91, of Harmonia Road, died Monday, April 29, 2002, at Washington County Hospital.

Born March 23, 1911, in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late John E. and Elsie G. Bottenfield Hoopengardner.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Ambrose Ritz, in 1957.

She retired as storekeeper from Ritz Brothers Store in Buck Valley, Pa.

She was a member of Buck Valley Christian Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Carole L. Palmer of Warfordsburg; two sons, John C. Ritz of Warfordsburg, and Gene Ritz of Gaithersburg, Md.; one sister, Blanche Parker of Eustis, Fla.; one brother, Wilbur Hoopengardner of Hagerstown; five granddaughters; four grandsons; six great-granddaughters; and five great-grandsons.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Gladys Hartung; and one brother, Guy Hoopengardner.

Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Buck Valley Christian Church, Warfordsburg. The Rev. Clint Bahrenburg will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Grove Funeral Home, Hancock, which will open at 2 p.m.; and at the church Friday from 10:30 to 11 a.m.

Ray C. Zeger


CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Ray Calvin Zeger, 86, of 1539 S. Main St., died Monday, April 29, 2002, at Chambersburg Hospital.

Born Nov. 23, 1915, in Mercersburg, Pa., he was the son of the late John C. and Mary Stahl Zeger.

He attended King Street United Brethren Church in Chambersburg.

He worked at Mercersburg Academy, farmed in the Chambersburg area for 22 years, and worked at the Chambersburg Paper Mill.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Virginia M. Barmont Zeger; one granddaughter, Darla Zeger of Arizona; two nieces and three nephews.

He was preceded in death by one son, Darl Zeger; one sister, Helen Wingert; and one brother, Ralph Zeger.

Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Robert G. Sellers Funeral Home, Chambersburg. The Rev. Lester F. Stine will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Mercersburg, Pa.

Visitation will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family requests the omission of flowers.

Ray L. Over


CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Ray L. Over, 76, of 59 Keystone Ave., died Monday, April 29, 2002, at Chambersburg Hospital.

Born July 8, 1925, in St. Thomas Township, Pa., he was the son of the late J. Howard and Beulah Culler Over.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mildred Frey Over, in 1992.

He retired from LEAD in 1977 after 43 years. He operated Over's Transmission Shop for 15 years.
