Lorna M. Jones


MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Lorna M. Jones, 65, of Martinsburg, died Friday, April 19, 2002, at City Hospital, Martinsburg.

Born Sept. 21, 1936, in Berkeley County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Leo and Elva Taylor Sakeman.

She is survived by her husband, Roy T. Jones; two daughters, Barbara A. Fleming and Cynthia D. Jones, both of Martinsburg; three sons, Roy D. Jones of Martinsburg, Leo W. Jones of Winchester, Va., and Paul A. Jones of Hedgesville, W.Va.; 16 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be Monday at 12:30 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg. The Rev. Harold L. Hess will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Elizabeth H. Stalnaker


VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Elizabeth Hoffman Stalnaker of Virginia Beach died Sunday, April 7, 2002, of cancer at Norfolk General Hospital in Virginia.

She was the daughter of Elizabeth Moore and Charles William Hoffman of Hagerstown.

She was a graduate of Saint Catherines School in Richmond, Va., and attended Bennett Junior College.

She served on the alumni board of St. Catherines school.

She is survived by her husband, J. Anderson Stalnaker; a daughter, Elizabeth Pollock Staples; a son, Randolph Coalter Pollock; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Christ and St. Lukes Episcopal Church in Norfolk, Va.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, 1275 York Ave., New York, NY 10021.

Gladys Urspruch


WILLIAMSPORT - Gladys Urspruch, 77, formerly of 16608 Buford Drive, died Friday, April 19, 2002, at Homewood Nursing Home, Williamsport.

Born Oct. 10, 1924, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Dilly Jr. and Marie Nadol Dilly.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Hodge Urspruch, in 1978.

She was formerly employed by C&P Telephone Co. in Catonsville, Md.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Williamsport.

She is survived by a brother, Robert G. Dily of Bradenton, Fla.; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Samuel Dilly III.

Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, Wilson Boulevard. The Rev. W. Gregory Martin will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.

There will be no viewing.

The family requests the omission of flowers.

Kim M. Milbourne


GRANTSVILLE, Md. - Kim Marie Milbourne, 41, of 201 Main St., died Friday, April 19, 2002, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.

Born Dec. 9, 1960, in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of James J. Lyons Jr. and Beverly Long Lyons of Big Pool, Md.

She was employed as a child care worker by Willy Wisp in McHenry, Md.

She attended Cherry Glade Mennonite Church.

She was treasurer of Northern Garrett Soccer Club.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, John R. Milbourne; a daughter, Brittany M. Milbourne at home; two sons, Michael B. Milbourne of Grantsville and Justin L. Milbourne of Westover, W.Va.; a brother, James Lyons III of Sharpsburg; and a grandson.

Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Cherry Glade Mennonite Church. The Rev. Barry Maust will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville. Visitation also will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the church.

Regina C. Moore


Regina C. Trumpower Moore, 86, of Hagerstown, died Thursday, April 18, 2002, at her home.

Born March 29, 1916, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Lulu May Palmer Trumpower.

She was preceded in death by her husband, R. Ragan Moore.

She was a member of Grace Brethren Church in Hagerstown and the church's Friendly Bible Class.

She is survived by a daughter, Sandra J. Trigger of Hagerstown; two sons, Terry R. Moore of Hagerstown and Robert K. Moore of North Carolina; eight grandchildren; a step-grandchild; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Peggy J. Moore, and a brother, William Trumpower.

Services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, Hagerstown. The Rev. Dean P. Pryor will officiate. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Grace Brethren Church, 837 Spruce St., Hagerstown, MD 21742.

Glenn J. Kline


WOLFSVILLE - Glenn J. "Bud" Kline, 65, of Wolfsville Road, died Friday, April 19, 2002, at his home.

Born Aug. 19, 1936, in Wolfsville, he was the son of the late John G. and Alice Naomi Cline Kline.

He was employed by Huffer and Huffer in Jefferson, Md.

He was a Protestant.
