Heroics not needed for Suns

CHARLESTON, W.Va. - Derin McMains' two-run homer capped a four-run fourth frame as the Hagerstown Suns again used their big-inning capability for a 5-3 victory over Charleston (W.Va.) on Thursday night.

Trailing 2-1, Mark Walker and Leonel Cabrera both singled. Walker scored on an error to tie it and Bryan Carter knocked in Cabrera for a 3-2 game. McMains followed with his homer for a three-run lead that held easily.

Francisco Liriano got the win, allowing five hits in five innings. Benji Miller pitched the eighth and ninth for his first save.
