SHENANDOAH HUNCTION, W.Va. - Donnell Lee's bases-loaded bloop single to right field in the eighth inning gave Jefferson a 5-4 win over Hampshire on Wednesday.

Jefferson (12-4) tied the game in the seventh inning, taking advantage of two Hampshire errors. Shanen Cogan (1-2) retired all six batter he faced while recording the win. Justin Dailey had three hits while Lee and Sam Walls each had two hits for Jefferson.

NEW KINGSTON, Pa. - Irvin Sleighter (3-0) struck out seven, walked none and allowed five hits while throwing his second complete game of the season as Chambersburg defeated Cumberland Valley in a Mid Penn Commonwealth game.

Andy Carter had three hits and an RBI while Aaron Burke had two hits and an RBI for Chambersburg (7-0, 5-0).

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Zach Barkdoll went 3-for-3 with a homer and a triple, knocked in three runs and scored four times as the Blue Devils ripped through the Canners to stay undefeated.

Zach Spidel hit his fifth homer of the season in the third for Greencastle (8-0, 6-0 Mid Penn Colonial), which had only 10 hits, but had seven batters hit by a pitch.

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Brian Kirkpatrick, going for the tying run, was thrown out at the plate in the bottom of the sixth inning, sending the Indians to their fourth one-run loss of the season.

Jeremy Geesaman reached on an error to start the fourth, doubled to start the sixth and scored both times for Waynesboro (3-5, 2-3 Mid Penn Commonwealth). Joey Weath-erald and Adam Caron had RBI groundouts, but Kirkpatrick couldn't get home on Eli Rock's single.

WALKERSVILLE, Md. - Derek Krantz's single in the bottom of the seventh knocked in Pete Genovese with the winning run as the Lions gave up the lead in the final inning, then got it back for an MVAL win.

Ray Dorsey walked and Genovese singled to lead off the seventh for Walkersville (5-2, 2-2). Mike Mullinix's bunt single drove in a run when the throw got away and Alex Dub was intentionally walked to set up Krantz's game-winner. Dorsey scored three more times, while Genovese and Mullinix had two hits each. Mullinix also struck out 12 in six-plus innings.

For Middletown (3-5, 2-4), Ryan McQuillen had two hits and J.T. Moore and Chris Anderson had two RBI each.

Kyle Robinson and Aaron Davis had two hits apiece for North (3-6, 3-4).
