Ravens clubs welcome Mulitalo, Stokley

Two local Baltimore Ravens fan organizations will welcome Ravens players and personalities to the area for award banquets in the next two weeks.

The Tri-State Ravens Nest No. 12 will hold its Third Annual Lineman of the Year Banquet on April 6 at the Four Points Sheraton in Hagerstown.

This year's award winner is offensive guard Edwin Mulitalo. Former Baltimore Colt and current Ravens radio announcer Tom Matte will be the master of ceremonies.

The banquet will begin with a social hour at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 and a limited number still remain. For more information, contact Bob Miller at 301-733-5000 or Jim Phillips at 301-739-1678.

Ravens Roost No. 7 will present the 39th Double EE Award Banquet and Dinner Dance on April 13 at Hagerstown Elks Lodge No. 378 on Robinwood Drive.

Ravens wide receiver Brandon Stokley will be on hand to accept the Extra Effort award. Newly appointed defensive coordinator Mike Nolan will also be in attendance. Former Baltimore Colt Bruce Laird will be the master of ceremonies.

Laird is also president of the NFL Alumni Association for the Baltimore/D.C. area and has promised to bring several former NFL players as well.

The All-Washington County high school football team will also be honored and one senior will be awarded a $2,000 college scholarship.
