Frederick All-Star games tonight

The 23rd Annual Frederick County Coaches Association City-County All-Star Basketball Classic will be played tonight at Thomas Johnson High School.

The girls game begins at 6 p.m., followed by the boys game. Admission is $4, with proceeds benefitting the Frederick County Coaches Association scholarship fund.

The girls players will hold a free throw shooting contest at halftime of their game and a 3-point shooting contest after the game. The boys will have a slam dunk contest before their game and a 3-point contest at halftime.

The City team leads the girls series 14-8 and has won the last five games. The City leads the boys series 19-3 and has won 10 straight.
