Silent auction

Sponsored by Salem Ridge Mennonite Church, Thursday, March 14, 5 to 8 p.m., Maugansville Ruritan Building, 18007 Maugans Ave., Hagerstown. Furniture, needlework, hand-made items and more will be sold. A food stand will be available. Proceeds benefit the church building fund.

American Cancer Society Daffodil Campaign

Thursday, March 14, through Sunday, March 17. Daffodils will be sold Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the American Cancer Society office in Haven Lutheran Church on Haven Lutheran Road in Hagerstown, from 8 a.m. to noon at Robinwood Medical Center and from 1 to 5 p.m. at Washington County Hospital. Celebration of Life night

Sponsored by Shirley B. Robison Memorial Fund, Friday, March 15, 7 p.m., Four Points Sheraton, Dual Highway, Hagerstown. The evening honors and remembers local cancer patients and their families and will include a buffet dinner, entertainment by the SophistiCATS and Michael T and a chance to win Longaberger door prizes.
