SENECA, Pa. - Jeremy Grove had 31 points - making 6 of 12 3-pointers - and seven steals as Heritage outscored Girard 37-18 in the middle two quarters and won the Association of Christian Schools International distict championship.
"Once Grove started hitting some 3s in the second quarter that kinda broke it open," Heritage coach Mike Kidd said.
Ryan Johns had 11 points and 11 rebounds, while Jesse Latta added seven rebounds for Heritage (13-10), which will travel to Philadelphia on Thursday for the ACSI Regional tournmanet.
