Crime Solvers for 2/25

The theft of a vehicle with a child inside from in front of Washington County Hospital last fall is the topic of this week's Crime Solvers case in Washington County.

Hagerstown City Police said that on Tuesday, Oct. 9, at 12:14 p.m., a woman parked her unlocked 1999 Nissan in front of the main doors of the hospital with the motor running, leaving her son in the back seat.

She was inside for approximately two minutes and returned to find her car and son gone.

The car was found at the rear of the hospital on Mill Street, the motor still running and the child still in the back seat, police said.

All leads in this case have been exhausted and Crime Solvers is seeking the help of the community.

If anyone knows the person or persons responsible for the crime, Crime Solvers wants to hear about it.
