MERCERSBURG, Pa. - Pennsylvania State Police have charged a Mercersburg man with impersonating a public servant after getting reports that he stopped motorists by flashing his headlights and using a red light.
Police alleged that during January and February the man stopped several people he knew and also some people he did not. When the people he did not know pulled over, he sped by, police said.
Jamie Lynn Cordell was arraigned by District Justice Hawbaker and committed to Franklin County Prison. He was no longer in the jail Wednesday, a corrections officer said.
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - A Chambersburg woman was injured Tuesday afternoon when her vehicle was hit from behind at a traffic light, Pennsylvania State Police said.
