A Berkeley County grand jury on Friday indicted two Martinsburg men in separate fatal stabbings that occurred last June.

Thomas Dale Sims Jr., 19, of Winchester Avenue, was indicted on a voluntary manslaughter charge in the June 8 stabbing of 18-year-old Justin Lawson.

Sims is accused of stabbing Lawson with a 6-inch knife during a confrontation near the intersection of Church and West King streets in Martinsburg in a dispute over Chandra Gray.

Police said Gray, who was engaged to Sims when the stabbing occurred, had recently ended a relationship with Lawson.

Miguel A. Delgado, 33, was indicted on a murder charge in the June 16 stabbing of Robyn Richardson, 29, who was identified as his girlfriend.

Delgado is accused of stabbing Richardson to death with a steak knife during a fight that police allege started inside her East Moler Avenue apartment and continued outside. Richardson's body was in a grassy area at her apartment complex.

A state medical examiner concluded Richardson had been stabbed 22 times.
