HANCOCK - Cassy Bingaman hit a 12-foot baseline jumper with 1.5 seconds remaining and Heather Klinefelter had 12 points and 10 rebounds Monday to lead Hancock to a 38-37 victory over St. Maria Goretti.

Goretti (12-12) led 30-22 before it started to miss inside shots, allowing the Panthers (3-13) to come back.

Carrie Beaver had seven points, nine rebounds and four blocked shots for Hancock.

Heidi Siirtola had 11 points with nine rebounds, eight steals and four assists for the Gaels while Katie Chambers added 17 points and 10 rebounds.

McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - Foul problems and cold shooting in the third quarter proved to be the downfall of the Spartans in a Sideling Hill League against the second-ranked team in the region.

McConnellsburg hit just 3 of 12 shots coming out of the half while three starters were mired in fouled trouble and eventually fouled out.

Cara Carmack had 10 rebounds for McConnellsburg (3-16, 2-12).
