She is survived by two nieces, Josephine E. Jones and Barbara Ridenour, both of Hagerstown; and great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Katherine A. Shatto; and three brothers, Lloyd Stouffer, J. Fred Stouffer and John Stouffer.

Services will be Monday at 9:30 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Raymond H. Shriver will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, in Hagerstown.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.




Margaret A. Jones


KNOXVILLE, Md. - Margaret Ann Jones, 61, of 3518 Olive School Road, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002, at Reeders Memorial Home, Boonsboro.

Born Sept. 22, 1940, in Harrisonburg, Va., she was the daughter of the late Seymour T. and Cora Craun Douglas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett William Jones.

She retired from the Frederick County Board of Education as an aide.

She was a member of Yarrowsburg Mennonite Church.

She is survived by three sons, Robert Jones and Richard Jones, both of Knoxville and Edwin Jones of Brunswick, Md.; one sister, Emma L. Jones of Knoxville; and one brother, Harold L. Douglas of Cumberland, Md.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald Douglas and Donald Douglas.

Services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at John T. Williams Funeral Home, Brunswick. Pastors Glenn E. Martin and Allen D. Myers will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Olive Mennonite Cemetery, Maugansville.

The family will receive friends Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, which will open at 9 a.m.

Mary E. Mann


MONT ALTO, Pa. - Mary Ellen Orr Mann, 78, of Mont Alto and formerly of Waynesboro, Pa., died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002, at Waynesboro Hospital.

Born July 25, 1923, in Lonaconing, Md., she was the daughter of the late Harrison and Alice Warnick Bittinger.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Troy E. Orr.

She was a member of the Church of God.

She is survived by her husband, Melvin B. Mann; one daughter, Dorothy L. Sherry; two stepdaughters, Debra Miller of Mercersburg, Pa. and Teresa Gunter of Hagerstown; one stepson, Douglas Mann of Hagerstown; one sister, Dora Green of Lonaconing; three brothers, Joseph Bittinger of Uniontown, Pa., Elmer Bittinger of Burgettstown, Pa. and Albert Bittinger of Akron, Ohio; one granddaughter, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and five brothers.

Services will be Monday at 3 p.m. at South Berkeley Funeral Chapel in Inwood, W.Va. The Rev. Ronald Skidmore will officiate. Burial will be in Gerrardstown Presbyterian Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. at the funeral chapel.




Betty L. Raynor


MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Betty L. Raynor, 76, of Martinsburg, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002, at her home.

Born April 5, 1925, in Martinsburg, she was the daughter of the late Copeland Thompson Sr. and Nan Armstrong Thompson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Raynor.

She is survived by one daughter, Beverly Kopczenski of Winchester, Va.; one son, Michael S. Raynor of Bunker Hill, W.Va.; one brother, Copeland Thompson Jr.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Juanita Yurish and June Thompson.

A memorial service will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at South Berkeley Funeral Chapel, Inwood, W.Va. The Rev. William C. Crowe will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral chapel.




Mary J. Renner


MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Mary Jane Renner, 90, of Martinsburg, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002, at City Hospital, Martinsburg.

Born Jan. 21, 1912, in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Hester Stotler Yost.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert R. Renner.

She is survived by two daughters, Nancy E. Shull and Mary A. Shepherd, both of Martinsburg; five sons, Robert F. Renner, Howard R. Renner, Charley Renner, Arthur H. Renner and Robert F. Renner Jr., all of Martinsburg; 102 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Eugene Linaburg; and 15 sisters and brothers.

Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg. The Rev. James Shepherd will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
