A-1 correction for February 1

Due to a reporter's error, a story in Monday's Morning Herald misinterpreted a statement by Washington County Board of Education member Doris Nipps about which students can seek special permission to stay in their home schools following the implementation of redistricting. Nipps actually said "Students next year who are in the last year of the elementary, middle, tenth, eleventh, or twelfth grades can finish their careers there - if the parents ask for special permission."

The Herald apologizes for the mistake.
