D.M. Bowman Inc.
plans flag dedication

D.M. Bowman Inc., 10038 Governor Lane Blvd. in Williamsport, will host a flag dedication ceremony on Saturday beginning at 9 a.m.

In addition to Bowman employees, State Sen. Donald Munson is expected to attend.

Retired Officers
Association meeting set

The Pen-Mar Chapter of the Retired Officers Association (TROA) will meet Thursday at 11:30 a.m. in the Carriage House Restaurant on South Seton Avenue in Emmitsburg, Md.

The luncheon meeting's featured speaker will be U.S. Army Lt. Col. John R. Minahan, who currently is a student at the U.S.A. War College in Carlisle, Pa.

The meeting is open to all active duty commissioned and warrant officers, former officers, members of the Reserve and National Guard officer corps, retired officers and surviving spouses from all seven uniformed services. Reservations are required.


TROA is the nation's largest organization of retired military officers with nearly 400,000 members. The Pen-Mar Chapter is one of 425 TROA chapters around the world. Call 301-845-6223 for information.
