Turner-Wright


Michelle Lee Wright and Reggie Jerome Turner were married Saturday, Nov. 25, 2000, at Mount Nebo United Methodist Church in Boonsboro.

The bride is the daughter of Cliff and Ann Wright of Boonsboro. The bridegroom is the son of Norman and Patricia Turner of Appomattox, Va.

The bride is a graduate of Boonsboro High School, received an associate's degree from Hagerstown Junior College and a bachelor of arts degree from Shippensburg University. She is employed by Allstate Insurance in Carrollton, Texas, as a sales assistant.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Appomattox High School, attended Longwood College in Virginia, Hagerstown Junior College and Frostburg State University. He is employed by Morgan Stanley Dean Witter in Dallas, Texas, as a financial adviser.

Amy Louise Smith and Joshua Dale Sparkman were married Saturday, Oct. 14, 2000, at Benevola United Methodist Church in Benevola.

The bride is the daughter of Ruth and Robert J. Smith Jr. of Boonsboro. The bridegroom is the son of Roger Sparkman and Patricia Sparkman, both of Frederick, Md.

The bride is a 1991 graduate of Boonsboro High School. She is employed by State Farm Insurance Co.. in Frederick as an underwriting service assistant.

The bridegroom is a 1992 graduate of Linganore High School and a 1997 graduate of Towson University. He is employed by State Farm Insurance Co. in Frederick as a claim representative.

They live in Charles Town, W.Va.

Linda Lee Sacchet and Bruce Frederic Field were married Saturday, Nov. 4, 2000, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hagerstown.

The bride is the daughter of Jene Lee Meier and Leo F. Komorowski, both of Hagerstown. The bridegroom is the son of Fred Field of Rockville, Md.

The bride retired from National Institute of Standards and Technology, Department of Commerce in Gaithersburg, Md., after 29 years of government service.

The bridegroom also retired from National Institute of Standards and Technology, Department of Commerce in Gaithersburg, Md., after 34 years of government service.

They live in Hagerstown.

Rose Marie Shives and Fred Robert Wenger were united in marriage Tuesday, April 25, 2001, at Caesars Pocono Resorts at Paradise Stream, Mount Pocono, Pa.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin J. Shives Jr. of Needmore, Pa. The bridegroom is the son of Patricia A. Wenger of Mercersburg, Pa., and the late Lawrence M. Wenger Sr.

The bride is a licensed practical nurse employed by Homewood Retirement Village in Williamsport.

The bridegroom is a former employee of Grove Manufacturing in Shady Grove, Pa.

They live in Needmore.

The bride is the daughter of Bill and Darlene Haeni of Marshfield, Wis. The bridegroom is the son of Robert and Mary MacCumbee of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
