Where: One Busch Gardens Boulevard, Williamsburg, Va.

Highlights: This park features a European theme on more than 100 acres including eight main stage shows, more than 40 rides and attractions and a children's area. Theme areas include Italy, Germany, France, England, Scotland and, new this year, Ireland.

Open: Weekends only - Today through May 13

Daily: Monday, May 14, through Monday, Sept. 3

Fall weekends: Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, Sept. 7 through Oct. 28

Admission:

  • $38.99 - general admission
  • $31.99 - ages 3 to 6
  • $35.99 - ages 55 and older with valid identification
  • $30.49 - twilight admission after 3 p.m. when park closes at 6 or 7 p.m., after 5 p.m. when park closes at 10 p.m. $26.99 for ages 3 to 6.
  • Two-day, three-day and passport admission packages are available.


Parking: $6 per vehicle, $9 per oversized vehicle, $4 per motorcycle and $10 preferred parking

New for 2001: Ireland, the park's newest country-themed area. Included within Ireland are Irish Thunder, an Irish dance show in the new Abbey Stone Theatre; Corkscrew Hill, a four-dimensional adventure ride; "The Secrets of Castle O'Sullivan," a special effects show; Irish cuisine at Grogan's Pub and Grogan's Grille; and several Irish-themed shops.
