Mail Call for 5/3

"Thanks to the guys that are painting the red lines around Hagerstown. Keep up the good job, you are making Hagerstown look good again."

"I wanted to thank WJEJ 1240 am. They have lovely music on Saturday evening from 9 to 11 p.m. It seems like old times. It is all 1930s and '40s music. On Sunday it is from 7 to 11 with Jim Titus. It has all the old tunes from the 30s on up. Every evening Jim Titus has the same thing on from 7 to 8. One hour of beautiful melodies. Just tune in, you will be amazed."

"In Monday's paper someone wanted WJEJ to put the Party Line program back on in the afternoon. I for one, don't miss it. I enjoy the music that they play in the afternoon. The Party Line as far as I am concerned, is a thing of the past. I hope WJEJ does not bring back that program."

"I want to thank the lady bus driver that was on Wilson Boulevard on Monday. She stopped to let three ducks go by. We need more people like that in this world. God bless her."

"If God answers prayers, as people believe, then on May 3, which is National Prayer Day, pray for the devil, for he is the biggest sinner of them all. Signed A.K."

"I want to ask the volunteer fire companies and ambulances to stop sending second notices to those who have already given money and please use this paperwork for something better. It is costing money. Send it to the ones that have not sent money in."
