GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Nan Bitner had two goals and an assist and Heather Kershner added two goals as Greencastle-Antrim (4-1) overpowered Bermudian Springs, taking 26 shots.


Sharpsburg Little League

Chase Construction 9, Lions Club 3: John Kehr threw a six-hitter with eight strikeouts and added three hits to lead Chase. Chris Showe, Zack Stride and Vince Van Ordan led Lions with two hits.

Smithsburg Cal Ripken League

Lewis Orchards 17, Mace Auto Body 6: Matt Shriver had four hits for Lewis Orchards. Theo Nehemias, Jason Everhart, Jake Staebler, Chris Pitsnogle and Mickey Souders added two hits. Ryan Ianaro led Mace with two hits.


South Mountain Little League

Town Center 13, Terry's Auto 11: Codey Jones and Sean Wynkoop combined for nine strikeouts for Town Center. Mark Needy and Devin Jacob had three hits each, while Chaney Lum added two hits. Alex Martin led Terry's Auto with two hits.

Hagerstown PONY League

FOP 11, Redmen 1: Leo Schill fired a two-hitter with 10 strikeouts, hit two home runs and drove in six runs for FOP. Josh Welch had three hits, including a three-run homer, while Corey Robinson also had three hits.

Wash. Co. Girls Softball

Western Maryland Troopers Association 10, St. Mary's Carquest 1: Chelsea Hovermale hit a two-run homer for Western Maryland Troopers Association.

Hershey Kisses 11, Nutter's Ice Cream 9: Darian Harwood and Samantha Sines had two hits each for Hershey. Tiffany Root led Nutter's with two hits.

Shifler's Equipment 10, Drillers 7: Winning pitcher Laura Smith struck out eight for Shifler's. Emily Myers had two hits for Shifler's. Rachel Greenburg led Drillers with two hits.

American Little League

FOP 4, Thompson Concrete 2: Curtis Harbaugh earned the win with eight strikeouts for FOP. Chuck Rouzee had two hits.

Clear Spring Minor League

Orioles 17, Cubs 7: Jared Dorsey, Cody Englehart and Gabe Hirsch had three hits, Sam Elwood, Cory Bair, Alan Reager and Patrick Mumma had two hits for the Orioles. Nathan McCall and Jacon Fitz had two hits for the Cubs.

Federal Minor League

Metropolitan Steel 13, Carquest 12: Joshua Younker, Alan Sines and Joseph Valenzo had three hits for Metropolitan.

Sharpburg Minor League

Western Maryland Troopers 4, Sharpsburg Amoco 1: Philip Marshall threw a one-hitter with 14 strikeouts for Western.

Maugansville Junior League

Penn Avenue Meats 7, Pugh's Petcetera 3: Justin Jones and Aaron Baker combined to pitched a five-hitter. Nick Allinson, Chris Baer and Baker had two hits for Penn.

Conocheague Little League

Redmen 7, Lions 1: Austin Barkdoll struck out 10 in a two-hitter and also homered, while Joey Siler had two hits, including a grand slam, to lead Redme. Kyle Cunningham also had two his for Redmen. John Mason had both hits for Lions.

Federal Little League

Rotary 9, Kiwanis 3: Mark Dattilio homered to lead Rotary.

Maugansville Little League

Maugans Oil 7, Homecare 5: Adam Merrbaugh had three hits and Ron Glazer and Brandon Glazer had two hits each for Maugans Oil. Aaron Mills had two hits, including a two-run homer, for Homecare.

South Mountain Little League

Lions 11, Reese's 1: Aaron Dixon had three hits and Kyle Kane, Allen Beard and David Lewis all had two hits for Lions.

Valley Little League

Hagerstown Spring 12, SMRG 2: Ryan Lipella had three hits, Kevin Tyler had two hits and Logan Miss struck out eight in four innings to lead Hagerstown Spring. Aaron Householder had two hits for SMRG.

West End Little League

Elks 9, Moose 5: Tim Leather struck out 13 and had three hits to lead Elks. Josh Ocasio also had two hits for Elks. Brandon Norris had two hits, including a homer, and Colby Fisher also had two hits for Moose.

Conococheague Minor League

Yankees 12, Shawley's 2: Kris Heinbaugh struck out eight in a win to lead the Yankees.

West End Minor League

Woodpoint 22, Western Enterprise 7: Ashley Wilburn had three hits to lead Woodpoint. Curtis Smith, Nick Breeden and John Smith had two hits for Western Enterprise.


Hagerstown Church Softball

New Life Christian Ministries 22, Christ Lutheran 16: Dan Krull had four hits for New Life. Peter Gaudalupe, John Davidson, Bill Durboraw, Dwain Dawson and Mark Durboraw added three hits.

Tri-State Fellowship 20, Otterbein 10: Danny Fraker had five hits, while Rob Doman and Todd Streett had four hits each for Tri-State Fellowship. Chuck Smith, Mike Kelbaugh and Josh Barnhart had three hits apiece, while James Knodle homered.

Hag. Church of the Brethren 33, Ringgold 31: Rod Gehr and Ray Winner had five hits, while Dale Younker had six hits for Hagerstown Church of the Brethren.
