GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Hagerstown Suns are coming home, and it's not a moment too soon.

Despite a solid start from John Thomas, the Suns lost their fifth straight Tuesday with a 6-1 setback against the Greensboro Bats.

Thomas allowed only six hits in six innings and retired the first six he faced, but two of those hits were homers, and Hagerstown (12-14) could only manage five hits as a team.

Deivi Santos had two of those hits, as did Trey Lunsford, but the Hagertown catcher was picked off twice on the night.

The Suns play a two-game miniseries at home Thursday and Friday against Delmarva.
